Whats better?

whats a better fisheye (as in a bigger one) a .38 or a .5 . like should i be looking for a lower number or higher, my friend has a .5 but its only a wide angle its not really a fisheye, like it doesnt do too much of a difference.

uhh...0.5x is pretty wide man. .43 or .42 is the general fisheye effect. but it also depends on the focal length of your camera as to how much vignetting(if any) will show up. heres a picture of my .43 (ignore hte searchbar noob thing hahaha) if your looking to film skiing id go with a 0.3 wide angle but for skateboarding, .43 is the way to go...if you cant afford a death lens haha

theres a legit .38 one i can get, i'm using it for skiing and skateboarding, but if thats to hardcore for skating i can swap it with my friends .5, cas that will fit on my camera as well.

thats probably because the focal length on the camera is small. like my camera has a rather long focal length so it removes all hte vig

yeah i checked my focal length then and its better than the one they took that still with, so i bought it, it was only 50 bucks suprisingly, should work out fine.
