he doesn't get the credit he deserves. he's an icredible guitarist, the trio should do more. i heard the song "who did you think i was" on xm and i blew my load.

John Mayer live (not the trio) is incredible. All 5 times I've seen him, he's done a 15-25 minute blues solo by himself, and he's EASILY up to SRV's level, if not beyond.
