Right now (and for a long time, I guess) I've been diggin' When the Levee Breaks. For sure my favorite song on IV, which is a bold statement....but it is up there with
How Many More Times
Ramble On
Over the Hills...
No Quarter
Kashmir
Ten Years Gone
Achilles Last Stand
And probably my favorite, Travellin Riverside Blues
Babe I'm gonna leave you
The Lemon song
Black mountain side
Going to California
Over the hills and far away
and of course, stairway...this song is purely genious, even if its overplayed.
the question should be like "favorite album/concert" cuz there are waaaay to many good songs. White Summer/Black Mountain Side, the version he played live a few times was sick, crazy eastern guitar rythmns and sounds with enlightened parts, with a little Bonham in the background. brilliance. but i mean, soo many songs, hard to even name em all.
oh, its possible. gilmour and page jam for like 3 minutes and match each other note for note, and then gilmour whips out the delayed distortion guitar technique, and page gives up.
I lost a little respect for the older Page when he did that cover with Puff Daddy, kinda lame on his part.
What is and what should never be on the BBC is tiiiighht, and the How the West was Won CDs are fuckin killer, and all their DVDs are just awe inspiring.
No Quarter, The rain song, and the song remains the same are some of my favorites on "Houses of the holy". Then the classics, dazed and confused, stairway to heaven,...
since i've been loving you
immigrant song (ala antrabatta sessions)
the wanton song
fool in the rain
d'yer mak'r
tangerine
i can't quit you baaaby
in my time of dying
what is and what should never be
