I have a "shitty" situation on my hands!

Here's the deal,my roomate and his girlfriend have this mutt of a dog and the things around 10 months old now but the thing keeps shitting everywhere and the owners r even worse.not shitting on the floor of coarse but the (brett)just passes out all the time and leaves the dog unattended for like a couple of hours and then wakes up and finds that it shit on the floof and beats the damn thing like its his job but does this like its the dogs fault for not going outside thats fucked up right?,thats what i thought.but then the girlfriend(brittany) let me just say she's a blackbelt in tae kwan doe,but she always yells at bret for being mean to it but then they left the dog in their room for like 6 hours and came back to find that the dog ate through an entire 12 pack of sunkist,and im not talkin about tearin the box open im talkin about exploding each pop can inside of its mouth i just think the dog has a chemical imbalance in the head but anyways the dog comes up to greet her and she punts the damn thing like 12 feet in distance and then yells at brett for doing anything about it.well my biggest problem is,well i have another roomate one of my best friends(Brent),r tired of being afraid of bringing our friends over and havin parties cause the thing shits and pisses all over the apartment and well u probably guessed it,it smells like it most of the time,i dont even like bringing my girlfriend over anymore.But i need some advice on the situation cause i really just wanna take my buddys 44 and blast the damn thing cause theres no way the owners r capable of changing the dog since they r just as immature.What do i do NS?

They just need to train it, awlmost any dog can be trained to be chill. You just need to get the owners to put some effort into it and have patience.

its not an attack dog or anything the dog is pretty much harmless except for making me and my roomate brent lose money for having to replace shit like the carpet,furniture,and miscellaneous shit it picks up of ours around the house cause the owners dont keep watch on it.

oh dude im definately with ya on that but they r not responsible enough to do that they have been tryin to do that for a while now like Kennel training but in order for that to work they have to pay attention to the dogs needs and know that when its standing by the door it wants to go out u know what i mean?

HEY! here's a bright idea! let the dog out every once in awhile, or better yet, give the dog to someone responsible enough to take care of it or has a nice big yard because these people just sound like dumbasses.

so here's what you do: put up some posters for a free dog, then when someone calls, take the dog when the dumbasses aren't home and give it to the new owners. your roomate and his girlfriend will probably be too wasted or stoned to notice anyway, and if in fact they do notice, it'll be because they realize they haven't been bitching about a dog lately.

I dunno man, maybe adopt the dog as your own and take care of him or get in contact with the local humane society and ask them what to do.
Dealing with roommates and their stupid pets sucks man, ive been there. I had a roommate who had a dog and his girlfriend also had a dog and anytime they would get loose they would run away and I could never catch them. They would always try to sneak out the door too when i wasnt careful. It sucked.

we solved the problem,i told them if they dont get a hold on the dogs behaviors like get it a new trainer and there be durastic changes or build a chainlink 30 by 30 foot fenced in area for the dog to do its thing or pay attention to it more then either me and my budddy leave the appartment or they pack they're bags and hit the road and i told the dude that if he dont like what im suggesting than to do something but he just decided to sit on his ass and claim defeat.So i guess in 1 month if nothing durastic happens ill be finding a place or they will cause i make enough money to comfortably move out whenever i please.So thanks guys and gals for your comments it really did help,thanks,Jonny

wghen we first got my dog and he was liek 6 months old, he wandered int my neighbors yard and when my sister was going to get him, my neighborm literally kicked him out of his yard. kicked him liek 20 feet rihgt into ours (hes a little peice of shit pameranian/ chuiauia.) and now i see his dog in my yard all the time and he shits all over my yard. i was thinknig about kciking him / shooting him w/ my bb gun but thats madd mean.

if nothing happens then id also suggest calling some sort of animal control center and reporting the abuse thing. for the time being though maybe let the dog out some on your own just to keep the shit off your floor... or lock the dog in your buddies(the owner) room so all the shit stays contained in his room so he can deal with it and the more public parts of your apt will stay clean.

people who beat and abuse animals make me so angry and sad. fuck, what can a dog do about its retarded owners - yea nothing. it pisses me off so bad when people can't take care of their pets. to see a dog, or any other kind of animal for that matter, suffer just breaks my heart cause they can't do anything about it
