Mogul Skiers...

Does anyone do that here? Whenever i ski at Breckenridge i see a few mogul skiers that absolutely suck at jumping. Stuggling to throw old school moves. I'm wondering if coaches are staying away from 3's and newer tricks and grabs or if these were just the really bad skiers?

I think it's just those skiers. I know a guy who grew up skiing moguls and if he was judged on jumping alone, he could be tops with a little more practice.

Most of the full time bumpers aren't too good at park..its a whole different kind of jumping if you know what I mean. But I have sooo much respect for good mogul skiers..I learned how to ski in mogul training and man it is harrd ass work. Those who are good are really really good and it is really a very unique skill. My coach ben has beeen skiing bumps since 9 ( he's 17) he can throw switch nines and smooth as hell rodeo's on his first hit on a huge table..well anyways bumps = respect!

i dont like moguls, it looks like cheerleading on snow, and they have some gay trick names, i heard some freestyle kids calling some trick the awsome dawson and it looked really fruity

i would have to agree some tricks are called really stupid names, zudnik, what the fuck, but i ski at breck, and i am a really good at moguls and i dont suck at the park, i know not all mogul skiers suck, toby dawson, he kicks ass, he can throw down tricks in the pipe and big air and everything, i saw this contest at steamboard, he threw a 1260 kou kang, dont tell me thats not good

I think they are just bad; I can ski mougles pritty good. the only reason I am not too good at jumping is just that I am fairly new to newschool

my intire crew waited for his ass at the bottem of the hill and beat the shit out of him. i broke his poles agianst a tree, and we snapped one of his skis. fucker got uppercutted so much. he was bleeding from his eyes and shit, crying like a little pussy. i busted out a body slam on his ass and broke both of his arms. the ski patroler broke up the fight and clipped all of our tickets. we where gonna beat the shit out of the patroller but my mom came to pick us up.

ok honstly i was watching mogul skiing on tv on the weekend and i heard the gayest name for a misty 7 the guy called it a hucklebuck 7 like what the fuck kind of name is that. Anyways i must say tho Jean-Luc is and always will be a god of skiing kozac tip drop for life!!!!!!

I love the bumps... I'm all about throwing smooth 360 toxics off and ziplining about 40 bumps in a row after that...

Definitely people will be moving to higher spins, 720s, etc... grabs too... anything to increase the difficulty (and thus score) of their run.

most of the more well-rounded skiers were mogul skiers. glen plake, for one. newschool skiers: tanner, pep, steele (junior world team), henrik weinsted (junior world team) and many others. all these guys can really rip on all terrain.

The judges arent ready...New shit old judges...We had a mogul comp and a kid threw a 7 and the judge ruined his air score cause he moved to fast...

yea mogul judging is just messed....but i still do it, it's fun...just damn tiring, i definately respect all the good people, cause it takes so much work to ski moguls well, it's so much more than just going down and absorbing
