**Customs from US to Canada**

so i am ordering some stuff from action village. and i was wondering how much customs will be. shipping is only $35. does it go by weight? and if so what are the weights and prices? is there a website where i can view this? will it be added onto my VISA automatically?

it might not receive customs charges but if it does itll come up on a document attached to the package when it gets delivered. its not automaticly put on your visa but you can charge it

The thing with customs is you can never really estimate how much your gonna get slapped on the product. Your saying that your ordered something from action village meaning its probably a paintball product, if its a gun the boarder people with estimate its retail cost and then slap a good old tax (kinda) on it. It helps to know what your buying though.

Also if you beleive that your product was estimated at an unbeliveable price you can send it back to customs to be reasessed

before you buy that gun go to www.pbreview.com and look up the review of that gun, just make sure that you dont get a cheaply made gun. I myself have owned a Kingman for a while and they are such a solid gun.

This is the opposite but when I ordered something from the states I asked the company if they would mark it as gift. They did and I escaped duty charges.

Duty and shit is RETARDED. I paid like, $250 for a pair of Technine bindings last summer from the US, I paid $60 in fuckin duty. They were worth it though... hahaha.

they have to provide a copy of the invoice
for customs purposes, then whatever it is has a tariffication code, a pair of skis is a different rate than, lets say a set of tools. or paintball gun for that matter.
You can get low value shipments in like cd's if they are under 25.00 and marked as a gift. It might qualify as sporting goods
or maybe another category, its in there big tarrif bible that will tell them the rate to charge on the amount of the invoice attached to the shipment

I'm selling my paintball guns and accesories. If my website was still up I would say buy from there but it died a while ago. Customs goes by price I beleive. Go to www.UPS.com and get an estimate.
