Anyone have any opinions on what schools in the northeast have good ski clubs? I go to UVM and want to know what other clubs do. Thanks

yea im in the bc ski and snowboard club and it is awesome. There's an awesome freshman trip up to quebec city, and then another one up there a few weeks later. Then they always do a christmas trip out west. Then we went to switzerland for spring break with 42 of us and it was probably the best trip ever.

Connecticut College has a good club. All-East pass, they rent mansions by the slopes every weekend and throw huge parties.

Yeah, I am an officer of the UVM club and I obviously think highly of it but we are trying to get some fresh ideas to keep things lively.

CMC in steamboat has a 'freeriders' club, they pay half your competition entry fees, take one or two ski trips a year, have rail jams on campus, and do backcountry kickers twice a year.

nah, i said northeast because i know a lot of the western clubs do bus trips to the x-games and other comps. we are limited in the northeast because we dont have many large spectator competitions. if any of the clubs out west are doing something cool that we can do in the east i would like to hear about it.

I dont know if your looking at Canada too, but the mcgill ski club is sort of lame. for newschool. they ahve a sick racing program. but park skiers arent in the loop, and the best we get is trips to avilia. Basically if you dont race, its a good cheap bus service.

could i go for cheaper if i didn't get a day pass and just paid for transportation, or would that even be free because you guys are getting the bus for free? i tried e-mailing people but no one replies or are ever in the office.
