New Skis... what do I do?

I recently bought my first pair of skis and a pair of bindings to go along with them. I bought the Public Enemys along with Scratch 120 bindings by Rossignol.
What do I do other then get the bindings mounted before I ride them for the first time?
~Thanks In Advance!

you need to decided where you are going to mount them.
Then bring them to your local shop, tell them where exactly you would like them mounted, and there already should be a factory finish on the skis (wax and sharpened) so your good to go.

Well, I'm thinking about mounting them at +3, how's that? It's my first pair ever buying so I don't know to much about this stuff... I hear that's the best for park and all mountain though.
So do I need to wax them or not? Do they come waxed?

to the best of my knowledge rossi put a regular factory finish on all their skis, that'll be cool for a couple of days tops. most people i know wax again before riding, or get a shop to do it. most shops will do it for free if you buy of them.
if you're doing like 50/50 on the fs i think +3 is probably pretty good, obviously depends a bit on the length of the ski.

oops sorry. you can tell i was tired.
yeah k2 for sure do a factory finish. i'd still recommend a good initial wax, it's just good for your bases man, the better you look after your skis from the get go the longer they treat you well.

Hey man I have the same setup, mounted at +3. Its perfect. I took A LOT of time trying to decide where to mount them and talked to A LOT of people. You wont regret it if you do +3, trust me.
