Replying to Italy torino

I am thinking of going to school there next fall and had some questions I wanted to know when does the season start there, should I wait till spring? also does anyone know the websites of any mtns there because I cant find them, If I am in torin how far are the mtns? and is there a bus or train that gets you there? how much do season passes run? One more what kind of snow fall do they get are there lots of pow days? I know its a long ways away but am excited about it. any help would be amazing. Thanks
