I first tried wakeboarding last summer at camp, and I loved it. So much that I have dropped waterskiing, and I've been doing that since I was six.
Hopefully I will get better at wakeboarding this summer, I am becoming a counselor at the camp I learned to wakeboard at.

i wakeboard a ton in the summer. Its all the fun of skiing without the pain of icy midwest landings. Wakeskating is fun to but it is impossible.

i got a LF evolution 134. with EVO bindings. kind of a beginner board but its smooooooth. and this summer will only be my second season. was spinning but missing the handle on my 3's at the ending of last season

keep the handle tight to your waist and hip like you are putting on a belt, and when you are at 180 have the top of your hand against the small of your back with your palm to the sky, with that position you will barley have to reach to pass the handle as it will be all the way across you back easy to grab. Oh yeah don't look down as you spin or you will be off axis. If that doesn't work try wrapped 3's off out of the wake.
