salomon 810 are a big no no. skied them when i was a kid.(90lbs). they prereleased on EVERYTHING and when i say everything i mean everything. bumps, jumps, groomers, trees. looks are for sure a safer, better binding.

i've had both, and i see no real difference, other than the boner part of the p12s hurt your ass if you land backseat, and the plastic breaks off real easily. some people have complained about the wings of the salomon bindings giving them trouble, but as long as you have the right binding (din range) for your ability and what you're going to be doing, and have them adjusted properly, you shouldn't have any problems..

Look px12's are solid bindings and rarely have bad reviews, on the other hand the salmon 810's have been pretty iffy. I've heard that if you have them setup right by a tech that knows what hes doing than they can be great lightweight binding. But if they dont fit your boot perfectly then you're going to be in pre-release hell.
