Why the disrespect in the photo section?

I have gotten completely fed up with people's attitudes in the photo section lately. It seems like in the past few months everybody has just been showing blaitant disrespect toward anybody and everybody that takes the time to post a picture. I'm too lazy to find a huge list of examples, but I'll call out West_Side_Havoc for being a total asshole in this particular picture that he rated a 1 https://newschoolers.com/ns3/web/content/pictures.php?img=72563&
Now why do I even go out of my way to post pictures? I really don't know, and until I find the answer I'm just not wasting my time on immature, arrogant little kids anymore.

when you post pictures it is purely opinion based, so you can't control what other people think, or even if they are joking.. so basically deal with it, sure people could be alittle nicer but you can't change their mindset, take it up with them.

Squawjibber and Sid_vicoius are assholes as well. i honestly have never seen them post a positive comment. most of the time its something about the poster having down syndrome

I know the picture I posted there certainly wasn't good, but a 1 for a rating? I guess I'm just fed up with all the high and mighty shit-talking that goes on in there, so I'm deleting all of my pictures except possibly a couple of my favorites. Now everybody can just concentrate their negative comments in a couple spots instead of having to work so hard and put themselves above me in a bunch of different pictures. Maybe I'm expecting too much when I hope for some maturity and positive feedback on this site, but if that's the case I'm not lowering my standards.

It's been like this for a while. I posted a picture of some cool flower(got 3rd in a contest, so it's a pretty good picture) and there were endless amounts of "Fagg" and "are you gay?" comments.

dude get used to it there are tons of assholes on this site. last year id be posting skateboarding footy and every single time it would get randomly hated on so basicly just tell them to fuck off or burn their ass as i have done many times before

that happens a lot. that picture you showed, is pretty bad. the grin dis soild, as for the pictures, it sucks. there IS a difference. now with the help of photoshop this has became a much better picture.

there's nothing wrong with that picture. there's nothing wrong with half the pictures that get crap, there are just people who get off by trying to put other people down, screw them.

I darkened it to make the background look better, that was my focus on the picture. Your edit gave him a grainy leg and took out the scenery in the back that I really liked. I know it is all opinion, but comments like "fucking shitty" really don't help at all. Thanks for taking the time to make a seperate version of the picture though, it's nice to see that some people care.

I was going to go for the silhouette originally, but the snow ruined it so I had to half-ass it. I thought it still turned out kind of neat so I posted it, but OBVIOUSLY I was wrong.

Anyways, I just deleted about 20 of my pictures so the rest of you guys can go ahead and rip the remaining ones apart, it shouldn't take as long now.

it was ok. the sky was to dark, and you couldnt undestand really what you were trying to do. next time try to multiply pictures with different settings

It's not because one person rated it as a 1. This has been a problem brought on by little kids going on ego trips because they have their little internet cloak to hide behind. I have noticed an increase in pointless reviewing/rating lately so I thought I'd call it out as a problem and maybe people would care. I don't expect to accomplish anything at all by making this thread (in fact, I'm guessing people will make it worse just to piss me off) but I just wanted to make everybody aware of the problem. All I ask for is a little respect and a good attitude.
