Local Papers really piss me off

ok i go to a Catholic High School and we are hated by everyone except our alumni... a kid that graduate from my school last year was accused of raping a girl (im not sure if he did it or not) but the fucking paper puts it on the front page... and before they even say what he did they made sure to say what school he was from.. the reason i am mad is cuz they only got one side of the story (the chicks) and this happened a couple of years ago with another grad at the same college and it was all made up
I just think they should get their facts starit before they completly fuck this kids life up but i dont know...anywayz im just pissed

and to post something logical and beneficial to the topic... my school a few years ago was in the state finals for basketball, a player from the other team gets pissed he is loosing his senior year final game, and kicks one of our players who was sitting on the bench in the face, a whole bunch of people break out in a fight and our players all being huge beat the living shit out of the kid, front page... my schools name followed by "GONE MAD," and the paper blames the whole thing on us. Creates a whole issue about how its terrible catholic kids are fighting, yet the public school has a horrible heroin problem and fist fights on a daily basis. its so hipocritical

Anyways, It is my own opinion that I dislike and distrust the Catholic church, I am not creating any hate towards them, nor am I "bashing" any catholic, just stating my own personal opinions. So before you make personal, ignorant and misspelled attacks against me, I suggest you actually read what I write and you will see I have not attacked any one person, just a corrupt and unjust "orginization". Oh, and the catholic church still sucks.

1) Well thats actually a good answer... why didn't you just say you have a dislike and have distrust in the catholic church, and your intention is not to create hate, or bash, but just state the opinion that the actions taken by the catholic church have been unjust in the past... that sounds so much better then "catholics suck". i agree certain circumstances in the past have been unjust and corrupt... though the greater intention of the church over time has been for the good of man. though when man gets involved it can get offtrack.
2) While currently your opinion is somewhat logical it doesn't have anything to do with the topic at hand. The topic is the misrepresentation of catholic schools by the media and more precisely the local paper. If you have had any experience with this or have an opinion that relates, such as that is unfortunate, or that is deserved, explain why, but feel free to post... because anything beats "Catholics suck"
3) I admit to going a bit overboard, but this site lacks a certain level of respect for one another. Especially in the forums. So if one wants their opinion to be known one must go a bit overboard to show they actually take something seriously. We walk over eachother all the time. Welcome to NS

yes actually, 18 years of going to church almost every week. The people I have met are generally nice and "good hearted" but the flaws I see in them are very correlated, and my family has a history of distrust with the church...think back to the child molestation scandel....back in the 70's my uncle was repediativley threatened by his own preist....and I thought a preist was the one person you could confide in most.
