I broke my arm trying a switch 180 off a cliff at stowe on feb 24th. I got a metal plate and 9 screws put in on march 7th. Since the surgery i have been able to move it mostly and it feels weak but i could lift my pole so i skied for 6 straight days all last week in the park and learned a few (like 5 or 6) new tricks. Some of my friends thought i was an idiot because of the risk to my arm, and some of them were as stoked as me to see me skiing....what do you think?

I'd say stupid because you could have jurt yourself even more if you bailed, and you could have been without skiing even longer...

truthfully, who needs arms anyway. If u really still wanna grab after u break yourself u could just reach your bloody stump down and touch ur skis, thats really ghetto

yah i just broke my collarbone last week, but i broke it on the joint. so basically i broke my shoulder. i dunno. im in a sling for atleast 6 weeks or else i need surgery.
risk it and ski groomers with one arm this weekend? or nay.
im going with nay at the moment, just because there's going to be a shitload of tourists up there and i dont want to get hurt because of some idiot flying down with his rental skis.
and im only pondering this now because ive read the thread, and there's a bunch of you that have skied with a broken collarbone.

I wouldn't even think it would be worth it. How much fun would you have skiing groomers all day? I don't even think that's worth the risk.

considering you have a lord of the rings icon i think your pretty fucking stupid, if you broke your arm again it could have been permanent damage
