**taking a program from one computer to another

how? so my friend has "microsoft picture it" and its like a mini photoshop i think. and since i couldnt get photoshop. i want her to either burn it to a disk, or send me that file. is it possible to do it? we both have highspeed and she has a burner. so is it possible??

you dont neccisarily need the installer file.....have her copy the entire contents of the folder to a cd....the folder should be located at c:\program files\ then the name of the pogram....in this folder somewhere there should be a progrqam icon or .exe file which will open the file, try to run it from the cd by opening this file and if it works copy it to the same location on your computer ie...c:\program files then copy the .exe file to yout desktop and you should be good to go just make sure your friend copies everything in the parent folder under program files
