Presented by the Newman Administration, a group of young individuals who love to smile, is the First Annual Jib Circus in the teeming urban environment of Ottawa, ON, Canada, on Sunday April 2nd, 2006.
The first event of its kind, the Newman Administration Jib Circus is a rider judged rail jam on a 30 foot double-kink urban rail at the National Archives. It will be up to the riders involved to determine just who killed the rail the hardest throughout the jam, with minimal administrative interference. We hope we can promote change and fairness in the comp scene with this innovative judging format.
Both skiers and snowboarders are welcome to this competition, with separate categories, and barrels of prizes for each. Keep in mind: this event is not entirely permitted by the city, and is being held on a very difficult rail. Advanced/expert skiers and snowboarders only! Participate at your own risk.
Entry fee is $10. Registration is from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m., and the jam begins at 1:00 p.m. sharp (registration after this time is welcome).
So whether you are riding or watching, come one, come all! We will show you how we have a good time in Ottawa.
