I've been skiing on a pair of elan 777's all season, Just wondering if anyone else has some feed back on this ski?

I really like them, there 195's and pretty much a race stock mid fat, i just which they were a bit wider...

^that picture pisses me off. and to answer your question. everytime you buy from a racing company like elan and ficher, you are saying something. i don't think it is right to support these companies because they are the reaont hat racing is so muh bigger than our sport. im sure that they suck too and you just need to try something different. like who rides a 195 in the park? and if they are racing skis then why are you posting it here?

Whoever said not to support companies like Elan and Fischer, you are an idiot.

The 777 is an awesome ski. The flex is really nice and the dimensions are spot-on for all but really deep powder. My only complaint is that the tip doesn't rise very high at all and it's not a twintip. The 999 is fatter and has a high tip and tail but is a lot softer and rides like shit according to a few guys I work with.

We just got a load of next year's Elan demos today and some look really sweet. The new MO2.2 is about a 91mm waist, full twintip, pretty soft tip and firm tail, up to 185cm. It's got two "rails" in the middle of the base, which are a complete gimmick I think (I have worn and cracked edges on my M02s which have the single rail). We got the 999 too which seems nice and soft but like I said, guys don;t rate it well, and the 1111 which looks sick. 111 underfoot, 185cm only, swallowtail and the topsheet is a painting from 1490 about death.

And it's not like elans ever supported freestyle skis before...

so I'll stay true to the movment and only ski on........

its all personal preference. and ive ridden em' before, and i realy dont like them. but whatever floats your boat.

elan Mo2 was my first twintip ski, and i still ride them, i cracked 1 edge too, no big deal
