is there much of a difference skiing all mountain with either? im torn between the two and was wondering if the public enemies just blow fujis away in all mountain or what
if you want groomer performance, the pe is the better of the 2. the fuja does chatter at speed, and is quite soft, because it's a park ski. If you told us more info on what you want we could tell you what you need better
If you do more than 75% park get the fujis, they are fine on groomers and sluff and shit and steeps. Unless its like 2ft of pow or mad choppy shit you should be fine.
i wouldnt say get the fukis unless you ski almost nothing but park. the PEs still rip in park, theyre just sick allmountain on top of that. I went from skiing all eastcoast Ontario/Quebec park to skiing 3 feet of swiss powder on my PEs and they were sick for both
public enemys are terrible on rails. you never get that smooth 'locked on' feeling, or at least that's what i've found. not the greatest ski switch either. all around, definately, but it's a mediocre park ski
For one thing since your such a lightweight i would definintely get the Fujis. They are a softer ski and since your so light it will be easier for you to handle them. Fujis are not entirely are park ski, more like 60% park, and 40% all mountain. I have used my fujis in powder and they work just fine. Since I do live on the east coast I ski more park. Fujis also have one of the better flex patterns. Great for buttering and just overall great in the park. They do chatter at super high speeds they can carve nicely and the bumbs are pretty good too.
i havent rode fujis but the p.e. was pretty much dead in the park for me and they werent even that fun out side of the park i could go pretty fast on them but they do still chatter at speed, they start to chatter at about 30 or 40
i have both, fujatives carve great on a groomed slope at low to medium speeds, fujatives are better though at slidy tunrs where public enemies prefer to be locked in a carve, both are park skis, PEs are better suited to big jumps and fujatives more for rails and buttering, if you dont butter at all dont get the fujatives
