so, i'm comming to NZ this witner (aug/sept), and unlike some I have most info i need and other shit i'll just figure out when i get there...
all i'm making this thread for is that I've been told that the NZ winter follows the same pattern as North America (well, western canada/pacific northwest).
I was told this, but might not be true - either way, we had a shitty year up here in canada last year, and from what I hear you guys didn't have the best winter either.
Well, we got a good winter this year, so good year in NZ? i'm going either way - here's just hopping though.
is it getting cold yet? nah probably not.

im not sure i understand you right... if you mean nz winter FOLLOWS US/Canadian winter then yes. not the same, opposite.
we are on the opposite side of the world... so our snow comes at the opposite time.
sorry if thats not what you asked but i had trouble making sense of your post.
oh and the season started average but had a pretty good ending apparently. i missed most of it. :(

Darryl, generally our seasons follow yours, if you have shit season, we will too, if you get bombed, we tend to get more snow as well, not exactly but they tend to follow similar trends down here.
Make sure you give mea yell when you drop through town you monkey, we'll get drunk and talk of the old times, werd.
All times are Eastern (-5)
