Well sir...for photography...the body doesnt matter as much as the lens...id say buy a cheaper body and just unload on the lens...I use mostly fuji velvia or provia for skiing or landscapes and all that garbage...
i have a canon rebel 200 which was like $500 after i bought the battery pack and shit. and then i bought a new lens which was like $400 and a bunch of other shit...i spent like $200 on filters...but ya i dont have a job so i couldnt spend 2000 on a camera
but my system takes some good pictorials

a good camera is only a small part, good film and a good photo developer help make the best prints. And also the composition and how you set up the shot is also very important. If you can, take a photography class in school or where ever you can. Taking practice shots also helps improve skills.

yea... i think your gonna need something a little better than the ZR45 if you want to do any sort of commericial stuff. Used GL1 wouldnt be too bad.

for video, its all about the cam and the quality of the shot, but also how you set up a shot that makes it better too
