Im getting a new pair of twins next year, right now im on tm's and love them, but i'm looking for some feedback on the silencers? I ski mostly east coast park, 6f 160-170lbs. Are these skis even comparable in terms of there stiffness, the way they ride etc? I understand not many people have ridden the silencers yet. I will be able to get either for the same price. The silencers would be a 179, and the TM's a 182. thanks in advance.
idk, id get the tm's i think they will def be a better all around ski. thats just my opinion, i thought silencers were just gonna be fujis just a tiny bit stiffer but still mainly park
Like everybody said... def go with TM's if u can get both for the same price. the main problem with tm's were the edges for th past years (although they never let go on me). They beefed them up next year with extra plates on the base, so u're getting a super fin ski (not too soft of a flexe, plenty of pop, and now someting that holds up). The silencers were made to accomodate the same clientele as people who would buy the volkl v-expression, scratch and so on... TM's all the way !!!
yea for your height and weight tms are a good choice for something a bit stiffer. they are siiick. silencers are dope (had a pair), but the tms are such an awesome ski. the edge plate reinforcement works, but if you detune the edge underfoot nicely, you should be just fine
