Thad Phillpot is a complete buzz kill at snowtrails. Everything that has ever happened at snowtrails within the past 3 seasons has been a complete pain the in the ass because people with soul and passion have to go thru back stabbing gate keepers like Dr_No. Anytime anyone is around he seems to act like he's got a team attitude. Once people leave the room he talks shit and is a complete barrier. If anyone wants to keep big air, carival, and special events the way where we have taken them, we need to make sure we voice our favorable opinons towards those who are relucent to push the envelope for snowtrails future.

I agree, he is going to eventually run that place into the ground as far as a park riding goes. He is bad for the progression. Very negative attitude. I heard more concerns about diesel fuel this winter than I did about park maintenance. Events like the pics below happen because we go around Dr Snow. Dr Snow wants nothing to do with Big Air, Heli Shoot, or even that everyday park. "We put too much money into the park this year. I dont think we should have one next year" - Thad Philllpot. Way to go thad, trying and ruin the biggest thing that snowtrails has ever had, silly hillbilly. FIRE PHILLPOT

who is he.. like the marketing manager or wut?? and i have a question about snow trails park.. i went towards the end of the season and it only had that one jump that nobody could barley ever clear.. is the park always like that or was it just a bad week

agreed... The only reason there wasnt three jumps is we were hampered by snow this season. Snowtrails has a good vibe and i love most of the people that work there. I've definately run across a handful of people that arent super stoked on whats going on over in the terrain park. But its happened and is still happening so if you dont like whats going on, find someone other form of skiing to stop the progression like ski racing.

the times i was there i couldn't get speed for the jump because it was hard and my skis aren't very long
where was that jump even at that was there last weekened. was it put in the park?

Thad is head of the matinence department. He desides how much cat time goes into the park, how much to spend on materails for hard features and soo on. When ever i am around, he as all smiles and seems like he is down with the freestyle community, but all i hear is behind closed doors, he does everything in his power to stop the progression of the terrain park and events. I hope attitudes change down at ST or the progression of the park might come to a halt for next season.
