Homemade shirts

i was wondering how to make some homemade shirts. i remember reading in a thread that they sell at wallmart special kind of paper that you put in your printer and then iron the image onto a shirt. has anyone else heard of this or know anthing about the question?

its called transfer paper, and u can buy it any craft stores and prolly walmart

^umm that will wash off really quikly, even thogh i wash my shirts like once a month i still wash them.

The transfer paper dose work but won’t last the image tends to crack and peel after a few washes, your best options is stenciling the image on in fabric paint. You can by the paint or you can by a fabric fixative that you mix wit acrylic paint. I advise you use book contact (covering, the sticky plastic stuff) iron the shirt before you paint and use a foam paint roller not a brush.

Thats exactly how I do... best, but also a very tricky way (cause of the stanciling)

i think theres this like special little contraption that you can buy to do this kind of stuff

it was my thread!!!

and if you buy the right stuff it works well, like make sure its the fabric stuff from the arts and crafts dept, not the transfer paper.....
