ya, you cant say anyhting bad about the spk;s untill u try them, i have hoard about alot of the cool stuff like double padded shins, super cushy foot beds than u can knucle and fell fine and alot of other really good stuff
I think you mean its not how it looks... its how it performs... performance and fit are related and the 2 most important aspects to proper boot for each person
It's not the sloppyness. The Insoles were fine, It was the shell that was weird.
Truthfully, I'm sure that they could have been carved out to fit better. But my Vientos didn't. Problem solved. Vientos(in my opinion) are better. The SPK was uncomfortable and I didn't like it.
But I've never really liked any Salomon boots, so there's really no change. Could even be a bias.
To anwser the original question, I think they're keeping the 1080 foil and adding the spk. And if not, the xwave series is the same fit as the 1080 foil was.
im sure it could hold its ground...most people are getting it as their boot for the year...im sure salomon wouldnt make a boot that you could only use for park and nothing else
