Every year around spring time when the seasons coming to an end I ask my parents multiple time if this could be the year of a summer ski camp experience. But it just never happens. I have some of the most supportive parents in the world, helping me with comp entrance fees and such, but the camps are just that expensive. Does anyone else feel my pain???
i had alot of pain cause my rents wouldnt support me at all just to my sis and i said you guys are a big help in my skiing cause they never did anything for me and then instead of yelling which i was expecting they decided to let me go cause they felt bad...lol so now they are really nice about skiing and stuff its cool
It's too expensive for me, so I just go skiing in the area surrounding Empire Freeride whenever I feel like it. But for you guys that aren't fortunate enough to live within driving distance of summer skiing, you could always try finding a job as a digger or something.
it would be my dream, i saved up all last year and this year, fianlly got enough money and realized that even though i have the cash, its not worth $1,300.... i worked two jobs forever, and i think im saving for college or some bullshit like that.
Yeah, definitely don't spend that much money for a week of skiing, it's not worth it. For a few hundred dollars you could probably drive to Beartooth pass (or another convenient summer place that I can't think of right now) and camp there for a couple weeks and probably have a lot more fun.
do you know how hard it is?
But that's what I'm doing this summer, at the worst i'll only hit the public park the whole summer but i'll still ski and had a kick ass summer.
