How long did it take everyone to start feeling balanced and comfortable in the air after first hitting jumps? Its my first season freestyling and Im getting frustrated with myself...Im mean Im hitting 30-40 footers, but their straight airs with no steeze.
about a year, I came back the next year and learned everything, striaght airs one year, then back, doubles, 3, 5,s 7s, underflips, rodeos, lincolns all in one year. It will jsut hit you and you'll go off.
its scarier to strait air a really big jump that to say 3 it, because with a strait air your paying attention to how high you are. but with a spin your consentrating(sp?) on grabs and spinning and not so much how high you are
i just got into bigger jumps and its helped my progression so much..before i was kinda stuck on 5s. now with bigger jumps 7s, cab 5s and 7s..all that came soo easily
yeah I need to just start really steppin it up. I have done 3's and 7's over like a 40-45 foot backcountry kicker. But Im just not to the point to take it to the super park. Im gonna start this weekend.
Yeah I am kind at the same place you are man, this is my first year skiing ever and I can only do small 3s and decent 1s. I want to get better but it doesnt seem like I am. You guys have tips on doing big 3s?
this year was my first year actually doing anything trick wise really..i went from being able to 180 at the start of the season to being able to 5 at the end of this one and getting fairly comfortable on rails..you just gotta go up to what ever your gonna do and try over and over, thats the only way youll progress, and youll be suprised and what you can do
