For those dick heads that just pick up a pair of ARV's and dont ski them and then give feedback on how they feel in your hand in the store, grow up, get a life. The tip is super soft, there is no doubting that while underfoot and tail they are definately not the softest and hold well.
I bet most of the dicks that give any reviews on any skis flex, do so in the store when the ski is vertical while flexing the tip, rather than flexing the ski with the base of the tail on the ground, where the effective edge starts. Otherwise all your doing is flexing the bend.
And the softest ski this year I've seen is the Dogen, so check that out. They're topsheets are really bad this year, no idea how next year's will be though.
