so today i skiing, and near the end of teh day i did a switch 180 off this 10 or so foot drop, right. little did i know, the landing was a solid sheet of ice covered in those little death-cookie ice chunks. so baisically, i am now missing all the skin on my right elbow, and it sucks because the bandage doesnt allow me to bend my arm very much, PLUS it stings like a bastard. anyone else have some ice burn stories?
I fell ski jumping twice in the same night and my sleeve rolled up both times because I don't use those little thumb holes. Yeah that landing is basically rutted ice so it did a number on the arm but no burning.
when i was 3, i yelled superman from the fifth step on our staircase and jumped towards a stack of pillows i had made, i whent to large and overshot the pillows to my back, huge rugburn. so its like iceburn, exept rug... my dad and his friend laughed at me. i cried
I'm really bad at halfpipe..but I was skiing pipe yesterday and decked and flew back into the pipe and skidded down the whole thing on my side/back and got some nasty ice burn. Then later I did the same thing on my other side. My shirt was pretty bloody. It was great. Now I have two giant bruises and big scrape marks. The worst part was probably cleaning them when I got home. That stuff stiinggs.
yah i crashed with a t-shirt on at night when it was really warm and raining. so i got cut on my elbow and since it was wet it was bleeding all over my arm. i told the ski patroller i was in a fight with a shark. i dont think he bought it.
ok, i do a bio5 and right in the landing is a giant snowboard divet, my rear tips go right in and i get hucked backward and my jacket lifts up. My entire back was blistered and red. and then its kinda gooey eh, just a little bit from the missing skin. the worst was on my spine bones.
