so you think getting your skis jacked from the mountain is bad huh? check this fucking shit. i flew into SLC from Denver, but missed my flight. got on the next one though, but my bag had made it on the first flight, meaning it sat in the SLC airport for 3 hours before i got there. in that three hours, some ASSFUCK WORTHLESS PIECE OF FUCKING SHIT stole my ski bag. here's a list of what i lost yesterday because someone sucks at life:
-elizabeths, mint condition (no stickers even) with black/blue p12 jibs
-diablo fires (26.5) with a blue&yellow jibijibij sticker on inside of the right boot
-scott poles
-wisdoms, flat black frame, black iridium lense
-wisdoms, jet black frame, HI blue lens
-blue boeri helmet
-brown/tan mission 6 jacket
-brown orage awc pants
-two pairs of burton socks
-rio mp3 player
-dub gloves
-brand new never worn swany gloves
-my 5-mountain pass for summit county
-and of course, the bag they were in, a brand new black/camo dakine low roller.
my entire collection of skiing-related possessions is gone. this is the worst day i can remember having in a really long time. fuck you karma
so if anyone in the SLC area knows someone who all of a sudden came into a plethora of gear that resembles anything i've listed, please kill them as slowly as possible and send me their body parts in neatly labeled plastic bags please. i'll deal with the family and funeral arrangements so you won't have to worry about it. use of any blunt or rusty weapon is preferred, but not required.

update:
praise to the gods of skiing!
my bag was stolen, but not intentionally. apparently some dumbass kid grabbed my bag in SLC thinking it was his, and it only took him 72 hours and a drive to sun valley idaho to realize how dumb he was! so hopefully i'll get my shit back in denver as soon as possible.
it was sort of a good thing though in the end. even though i had to use my 5'6" buddy's torn to shit ski clothes (i'm 6'1") and old ass foggy as shit goggles, i got the fucking sickest day of the year at snowbird today. and the skis i was forced to rent (185 B4's) were far superior for a day like today than my elizabeths would have been. granted i was in POS rental boots with about 8 hotspots rockin out, but the 20+ runs of thigh-deep goodness i got today took my mind off it.
snowbird owns.
frontier airlines is kinda shitty though. they were absolutely pathetic through all of this. they said they would reimburse my ski rental, but only if i went to this one shop, seeNski, which had the most fucking pathetic selection of skis i've ever seen. the biggest pair they had were 168's that couldn't have been more than 75mm at the waist. me skiing two feet of fresh in those would have been a complete joke, so i went somewhere else and got the B4's. this dumbass kid's parents are sending me a check though (hopefully) so things should be straightened out soon
i still have to figure out how to get gear when i fly back to denver tomorrow because i guess it's dumping in CO. word.

you'd be suprised at how much luggage looks identical...especially for the fact that there arent TONS of ski bags sold..not like traditional luggage
best thing to do is mark your bag somehow..tie a huge ass ribbon on it, stitch a big patch, or something that prevents people from thinking its theirs
i almost took someone elses ski bag from boston international....same EXACT bag, ect...i only knew it wasnt mine when i lifted it, and it was too light

yeah definitely gonna mark it somehow next time. i don't know how he could have done it though still. my bag was a 180 low roller, and his was a 165. mine was JAMMED with ALL my shit, and had to have weighed way more than his. plus the fact that my nametag was clearly displayed in the dead center of the bag. oh well my shit's in transit and my season isn't over now, so it's all good.

Damn, I fucking hate theives. The other week my dirtbike was stolen out of my garage, but luckily my dad and I found it in the swamp below my house. Yeah it's a little different, but keep your eyes open. CHECK EBAY. Seriously man, I know someone who had their shit stolen and found it on the 'Bay.
