I just bought a new pair of '06 K2 PE's for all mountain riding and now I'm looking for bindings to put on them. I weigh 150lbs, advanced level skiier. Any suggestions for what I should get? Also, could I get bindings with 80mm brakes to fit my 85mm waisted skis? Thanks in advance.
i use the rossignol axuim scratch 200 with a wide brake. ppl say they suck, but myself, and many others have them, and have no complaints. the heel piece is a bit different from the axial, but the toe pieces are the same
How about the Marker Titanium 1200 Free bindings? I really want to get some look/rossi's, but everyone else wants them to so they are going for more than I want to pay on Ebay. I can get a pair of 1200 Free's for cheap though. Anyone know how good of a binding they are? I'll be using them for all mtn riding, almost never in the park. Any help is appreciated.
If you reall want an advanced binder get some rossi FKs 155s... those would have a good din, and they would hold up. Only thing is you would have to widen the brakes, but if you look on the Teton Forums they have a detailed tutroial and it's easy as shit.
just look at it this way: bindings are super important for safety; they are the only connection you have with your skis. They last sometimes for years. spend a little more money and get something that is more reliable that markers (but nothing is certain).
get a look or rossi axial/pivot/px/yea
not axiums
