I figure since everybody is asking what skis are stiffer than others, that itd be really helpful to make a scale of stiff to soft skis. So anyone who has tried more than one pair of skis tell which was softer and maybe we can make a comprehensive list.
here's a good comparison of the thc core v. the wood core of rossi skis:
i have skied on the scratch fs with the thc core and they are pretty damn flexible. i just picked up a pair of sprayer bc's which have a wood core and when i flex them they are still pretty soft, not quite as soft as the scratch fs but not stiff as a board. so in conclusion there is not much of a difference between the two cores and in general rossi makes skis on the more softer side, although that's not necessarily a bad thing depending on what you're looking for.
i only rode ar3's and pe's
ar3's are extremely light and buttery
pe's are about 2 or 3 times heavier than ar3's and are extremely stiff, but a sick and fun ski for all mountain and park
