kk guys what do you think is the sofest park ski out there...or what are soft really soft or buttery skis... im just sort of curious cause i didnt get to demo a lot this year...which i regret cause i had the chance too... tell me
As said above the ARV is super buttery...in a good way. they are sick so plain fun. Def butterier than nething I have skied except perhaps...my JP Juliens which once again are just plain buttery fun.
*raises one eyebrow* Not in my experiences, the ARV is more damp and doesn't chatter nearly as much as the sollys, but the ARV definitely feels softer.
My TMs feel soft up front, pretty stiff back. Although I can't really measure up, I've been trying to learn to butter for so long, I don't know if I just haven't really gotten it yet, don't commit, or if TMs just aren't buttery. Anyone help me out?
ARVs are quite a bit softer than chronics, really no comparison. as for TMs, the have soft tails and noses, but it;s only a small part of the skis, with the underfoot being pretty stiff, and the areas between the noses and underfoot being like mid, hence the "spring blade" technology. it makes for a really poppy ski if you know how to flex it right, but it skis very solid. as for buttering, it makes it good if you want to get all the way out on the tips like rainville, but can be harderto initiate since the whole ski doesn't flex evenly.
ARVs are VERY VERY buttery/soft. When my friend did a switch up today his skis were litterally flopping the whole time he was on the rail... I thought they were broken.
This guy was riding arvs yesterday and they looked like the softest thing I'd ever seen. Scratch FSs are soft once you rip the base down to the wood and give it time to rot it.
