So I went to Cascade today (3/17) and what a disappointment:(
I'll start with the positives and that was their bump run. Me and a buddy were the only ones skiing it all day.
The pipe was good as well. I just don't understand why they made the exterior walls so wide, what a waist of snow and $
Now for the disappointing;
Who ever said they have a transfer gap, should post on here that it is NOT THERE ANYMORE!
The 3 jumps (yes only 3) had landings that were terrible. Let's see, build a 35 degree takeoff and then let's only give them a 20 degree landing. Does your groomer ever hit the stuff he builds. Tell him the takeoff and landing should be the same angle as I would like my spine to stay erect and my heels to not feel like a fire cracker exploded in my boots!
Another thing, since this is the only park you have, it may make some sense to get rid of such a severe knuckle. I have never seen so many people get blown up, in one day in my life!
Where were all the rails and boxes? I counted 4 rails set up on the entire hill:(
