well, this might be the one trick that i would say doesnt need any tips, do a backflip, but do it twice, at once.

just build a super duper humungo jumparoooni and fucking throw that shit down if there's mad powpow!!!! and i believe niklas karlstroms was over pyramid and not chad's. maybe a jump that dropped down a very steep slope so you could go as big as you want to do it. like this:
___

_______/ |_______

actually its not possible, gravity slows your rotation too much keeping you from completing the rotation. twin tip skis only add to the madness making it that much harder

well this is the biggest thing, you DO NOT throw it harder. You just go far a backflip you know layed out, then just tuck a bitr out from the luip, I have some vids and pics in my media, check it out. tHOSE ARE A LITTLE DIFFERENT KINDA OFF AXIS A TINY BIT, BUT SAME IDEA. so yeah you jsut need to remember to let the ground go by the first time, don't focus on e it

That was helpful (No Sarcasim)
So your sayin that if I can Do a backflip on a jump I can do a double

um I tried it on a 30 footer my first time, thats in my vids too haha, but since then I haven't tried it under about 70 feet. You could do it on a 40 if your small tho, I'm like 6 foot one. remember to pop also, alot of time people forget that because all they think is THROW IT HARD.

one of my snowboarder friends did one off a jump like 5 ft. tall and then like a downhill landing so he would really be like 20-3-ft. in the air.

my bro in laws do em all the time. one on skis the other on a board. my little bro in law double backed pyramid last year on his board - there is a vid of it on this site - has my other bro doin one below superior on the same vid. one always just winds up and goes for it - no turnin back. the other grabs behind his knees and doesn't open up untill he's comming out of his second rotation. in both cases (and it's already been said) it's all about comitment. also, wasn't sure with all the sarcasm, but 1st double should be in the bc or on a pow day. don't through it down in the park for the 1st time. unless, i guess, you have a good track record for landing new tricks - in that case more pow to ya. when you do it... take a vid and post it - would be cool to see how it goes.

you cant say would a 50 foot table be good because you cant tell without seeing it. theres 40 footers that have more lip and kick then 50 footers. just do it on a jump you feel comftorable and commit to it. not that ive ever done one

word.
And to what Gotama said, if it's a nice ramp You wouldn't need to pop, you would get the kick you need from the pop in the ski. Popping on a backflip sounds sketch

go really fast pop really hard totally commit , tuck hard spot at one and then puull the 2nd, If u id try it on backcountry booter 1st preferably a slight step down with mad pop. I cant do these on snow but i can do them on tramp, so try that.

do it on a steep landing so you don't have to flip as far

A back country kicker is the best to learn them on because chances are your rotation won't be perfect the first time (I came up a bit short and dug my tips in on my first attempt). Test the jump doing some big stalled out backs till you think you have the right speed and hang time. You'll have to go big. Other than that, it's pretty basic. Set your rotation hard, tuck as tight as possible, and watch for your landing to come around the second time.

my buddy just learned them. he said you just throw it like a back flip and keep looking. the momentum and the weight of your skis and boots will keep you rotating.

id say atleast 50 and youll want to do it into the pow or else you will probly kill yourself first try
