Stripping paint from rails?

i need to strip the paint off a 14 ft rail, is there an easy way to do this? metal brushes? heating it up? sanding it? i've tried paint thinner and that just takes FOREVER...any ideas?

yea there are circular metal wire brush bits you can get for drills. they work like a charm. excellent for cleaning off rust too

Paint remover actually works reallly well. I just put it on and it just falls off with the paint. Watch it though, you get some on your hands and it burns soo much. I guess it would be too good for ski clothing either.

And, uh, there is a difference between thinner and remover. Check out like Home Depot or something.
