Ok, I'll clarify... when you pop off the kicker (and enter "airmode" :p) you do whatever trick you wanna do while holding the right shift key.

this does work people.
hitting the right shift key basiclly makes you travel in the air on a straight plain, and increases your speed, if you go off the jump and hold it down you'll pretty much fly over the entire level. Once you release the space bar to jump off the lip hit shift when you throw your rotation but don't hold it down or you'll go too big.
then just play around with timing. It takes a while to master.
