Not that this will make a difference or whatever...I used to think lots of you were 'hip' to the whole freestyle skiing thing and that this site was full of progressive thinking. Some of you are defenitely down with skiing and I appreciate any help, advice, or info any of you have given me. But, many of you have departed from this way of thinking into making yourself look or sound like a 'badass' just to get recognition. But, what really does that get you? What do you earn? Its not like Pro riders get on here to say 'Oh gee wow I want to ski with you, cuz you can pull a switch 1260 rodeo lincoln loop to alletoop flat spin 540 with a 12 kink combo rail slide all in one hit!' Many of you are caught up in your own self delusions to realize that you lost sight of what really matters....having fun skiing. Shit, every one of you is all over a post about skiboarding or any newbie out there who cant throw a 360. Shit some of us are new to this whole deal. Some of us in fact cant pull a switch rodeo. Who cares? Christ allmighty, .... to the small majority of you who can do it, I give mad props too cuz that takes balls, but all you freakin wannabes are all like ya I can do that and ya I know Tanner and whats he like and all this bullshit. Who cares if a kid has lines and cant do a 180 yet in the park....at least hes trying. If hes trying to be cool, let it go, you wont see him at all for the rest of your life more than likely. All of you who think this way would have it so that this sport doesn't go anywhere. Ive stopped comming here for a while and returned to talk with a few buddies, but the posts these days are ridiculous. I'm just really suprised by your lack of maturity. Personally I'm against the idea of having censors or what nots on ideas as I like some of your people's humor and what nots but do we need to start cleaning up these posts that lead to no where? Is it time to get some promoters of this sport that help it progress? Ie...should we get some admins and have them censor some of this needless shit or can we all be mature? Any ideas?
