Does it slid as well as metal. Also i am making a flat down flat for my back yard for summer skiing with the turf, any tips on how to make it. I have got a general plan but not to sure on how to do the down

i kind of have mixed emotions about pvc. It slides a little different than metal. But it's nice becasue it doesn't damage your edges as much, and hurts a little less when you fall. The downfalls are that it can get cold and chip/break. But i mean like the other dude said it's easy to replace.
pvc is great for rails. its a little more slippery than metal but still really nice. ive had my pvc rails for a couple years now and none of them have broken.
