R.E.D. HIFI warm?

Ok, I did search and got conflicting answers. Im coming from a giro9 which was very warm. The hifi appears to have open holes in it, anyone know how warm it is?

decently warm. on the really cold days i have to tape the holes shut or wear a ballcap underneath or the brain freeze happens.

well i have a hifi xl and i've never been cold in it. iv'e ski'ed -15 and i was fine. i wear a base ball hat under it.
