MovieMaker mix up

so basically half of my files from my new sony handycam will not upload into moviemaker. they download to 99% and it freezes my comp. anyone have any ideas?

ok one your movie maker cant handle the amount of video that ur importing if i were u i would import in seperate in seperate either that either that or u have overloaded ur hard drive and you cant fit anymore
