yeah, you're right, it's really easy to do triple backflips or double flatspins 20 feet out of the pipe. It's also easy to grind rails with huge 40+ ft drops on the side or do bios into rails and ledges.
Just because it's easy to slide a ten foot rail doesn't mean that rollerblading doesn't take skill.

ive said it before. dont make fun of rollerblading if you ski. same basic idea, only skis have about 2 feet infront of and behing the foot so its not as hard to maintain balance. im not saying skiing is easier, considering the size of the jumps, but its has never made sense to me to hate on bladers just because everybody else does. and people complain about people making fun of skiers...

actually skiing is much harder, to control skis and heavier boots in the air. rollerblading is kind of like doing tricks on a trampoline with a harder impact if you fall. doing tricks on tramps is really easy

holy shit thats like 50 kinks. and landing switch on rollerblades is so hard. u have and like and 8 inch length to land on. rollerblading is so hard, but it is easier than skateboarding

ya but if you land switch on skis, yopu can leand forward and if you land regular, you can land backseat. if you dont land perfectly on blade ur gonna flaa back and smash ur face or tail bone.

haha this reminded me of somthing at Allrose. They had a sticker on the wall that said "Friends don't let friends fruit scoot" and it had a picture of one of those guys on the bathroom signs in a banana costume riding a scooter. They framed it and put it up on the wall and wrote sticker of the year above it.

no....def not....i rollerbladed before i started skiing and its wayyyyy harder than skiing. its so fuckin hard to land shit and it kills to take drops. grinding on blades is way harder too i think. i can spin onto rails with skis no problem but blades you gotta land just right

"sports"(most, like extreme sports) are all "hard" i dont understand people saying one is easier. if rollerblading was really "easy", people would just go pro, and make money that way instead of getting a job. do u hear people just like,
"yeah im gonna quit my job. its too hard. im just gonna go be a pro roller blader and win all the comps and get hte money for a few months"
no, no u dont. Every sport takes a shit load of determination and usually a skill for that specific sport that an individual wants to do.
like say, skateboarding is "harder" than rollerblading. just like breaking wood with ur hand is "harder" than breaking paper with ur hand. right? so anyone who can karate chop a piece of wood can chop paper right? so the must mean and pro skateboarder and be a pro rollerblader...?
it dosent make sence. most common extreme sports take skill(skiing, snowboarding, rollerblading, skateboarding, wakeboarding, bmxing, etc). theyre hard. some people do better in some sports, and bad in others. its just how it is. maybe rollerblading is "easier" for some guy then skiing. but then ull also find someone who skiing is "easier" than rollerblading for them.
