RUINED !! Thanks to a little thing known as frost bite my spring break is now officially ruined.
On fri night i got home from school and immediately went skiing sunday, to get a few runs in before i went to Jackson Hole on monday. when i got back sat night, my toes were so cold and one of them had a blood blister type thing pop durning the day--a very weird thing that has never happened to me. got into a tub and tried to warm them up but nothing really. The next day they were better but not normal so i went to seek medical review. when i got in there he did a needle test, touching different places on both my forzen toes. I passed on my let toe but not the right. he said that i had mild frost bite on the right toe and i needed to keep it warm!!! which meant no skiing--i asked and he said you could lose further feeling in it permenantly if i wasnt careful!! So now my jackson hole trip is cancelled!! im stuck in UT doing nothing for my entire week of break.
Think you life sucks? now mine takes the cake!! so here's what im thinking... instead of just not skiing altogether, ill just go up to the mountains for like 2 maybe 3 hours a day and ski the park. yep ill become a park rat now. i figure we've been getting dump on that pow might not be good, but that the park will be ok since my feet are above the snow.
anyways-feel my frustration. and say a prayer for me

have you ever gottem frost bite before..? apparently there are "crystals" in you feet after your foot gets too cold and distrupting the thawing process of those crystals back to normal is not good, so too warm/hot = not good
and .... becaue the doc said they have a potential to burn your feet. i'd like to keep my toes. im kind of attached to them. But if you say it works ill give it a try
