Vancouver
There is Whistler 2 hours away, Mt. Seymour and Grouse. The party scene in Whistler and Van is really good. The skiing is also great.
Kelowna
You have Big White which is 30 minutes out of town and Silverstar that is in Vernon (1 hour away). They are pretty good hills. Big White has a good Telus Park. Kelowna is ok for partying, but it is a real choch and redneck town.
Calgary
Access to the Rockies but have to drive a decent distance to them. The skiing is ok, the parks are ok. Calgary is a good party town (lots of cowboys tho).
So there is the general run down.
