Recommended mounting line on my skis weren't even (help) Armada arv

I just purchased some Armada ARVs and had the shop mount my bindings 1.5 cm forward of the recommended mounting line. However, the recommended mounting lines on the two skis were off by about one cm so now i have a pair of skis where the one binding is one cm forward of the other binding. Does anyone know whether Armada will warranty one of my skis? i don't want to remount the one ski cuz they'll likely have to redrill it.

redrilling it once is perfectly fine.
but you should call armada and let them know.

well, i'm not quite sure which mounting line to use now. Is it typical for these lines to be off like this? i think the problem is that the mounting line is in the grpahic for the armada, whereas in my old pe's the mounting lines were in the side wall.

Atomic has issues with mounting lines not matching up either. You should take your skis back to the shop and have them take care of it, it's their responsibility to measure the ski FROM THE TAIL when mounting the bindings. They are the ones at fault, not Armada, so the blame is on the lazy shop techs.

you can redrill a ski up to three times, just make the shop do it for free

they should know better. you're always supposed to know better then to just go by the reccommended line. theiy're always supposed to measure from the tip/tail

yeah, it won't effect the performance of the skis, but it will effect thier future value.

Yes, it is definitely the shop's fault. They should know better than to assume that they mounting lines match up, there's a lot of ski companies that are horrible at getting the lines right.

its def that shops fault, you could try making that shop pay but that may bite you in the ass later, re-drilling isnt a bad thing as long as the whole is filled and sealed

Known issue with Armadas this year, call em up. Shop is lazy to not have measured though, especially on Armadas (assuming they sell them).
It will affect performance, don't settle for it, very least should be redrill if you are willing to accept it, personally I'd want a new ski.
