AIM problem

Ok, so randomly a few days ago, aim stopped working. Whenever I try to sign on, it says the AIM service cannot be reached. YET, my internet is fine, I've tried to change some settings, and some other crap. The only thing I've found is when i check out norton antivirus, it says email scanning is disabled. CAn somebody please help me?

Try downloading and installing it again.
