yup thats right, meadows is advertising there last day to be april 16. that seems really early considering that we have tons of snow and it is still snowing! i emailed them and they said it had to do with them not making enough profit after that date, its late in the season and some people move on to other things. I think that its bullshit they are closing so early. email them and get your friends to do the same requesting that they stay open longer!
Face it, Meadows is all about making money, which is what they are in business for, but it's really starting piss people off. I bet Skibowl will be open in to May. And T-lines spring park will be sick as always.
Unless we all stop riding meadows they will continue to treat us like shit.

As of now we don't have a spring pass but regular season passes are good until the first week of June. And weekday passes are valid 7 days a week after march 30.

In the face of increasing costs to operate the resort (fuel, state law mandated wage increases, etc.) and an attempt to keep the price of a season pass from escalating greatly, we have made the decision to close on April 16. We have tried staying open later in April and May, operating only on weekends, closing and reopening for early summer skiing. None of these alternatives have worked from a financial point of view. The reality is that people in our market are distracted to other activities after March. In late April, it doesn’t matter how much snow we have on the ground, if we stay open the lifts turn with empty chairs. We have published the closing date on our season pass materials and website since last fall to let people know in advance the closing date.
Sincerely,
Dave Tragethon, Marketing & Sales Director
