My lift at the one hill i goes right over the park and i have seen some funny/painful looking shit but by far the worst i have ever seen is this guy attempt a kicker onto a rail, well you could tell he was green goin up to it, he hit it full speed, and fucking nutted it right at the end of the rail, then he layed there limp god damn it must have sucked i saw him in the ski bag getting takin off the moutain later haha... whats the worst you have ever seen or experienced...
Whoever thought 'gee i wonder if i can ride down an icy hill with wooden planks strapped to my feet?' is a genius...

worst bail ive ever witnessed was a few years ago at loon mtn. me and my friends were just chillin in the park when we saw a little munchkin prolly 5 years old bomb it into huge alsmot vert table. he shot up about 15 feet and came down stiff as a board on the top of the jump right on his head... it was awesome!

mine had to be in the lower level park at whistler, we were standing at the top, and some guy asks us how much speed he needs to clear a hip end to end. we were just like tuck it from right here. the kid hit the hip going way to fast, over cleared the landing by at least ten or fifteen feet. he just sat there for 20 minutes until the meat wagon carted him off.

watching this snowboarder decked in all this gear sit at the top of a tale for 20 minutes. When he finally got up and hit the jump, he ust rolled down the windows as he did half a flip and smashed on the knuckle.

this really isnt a fall from a jump or a rail...but just today like 2 hrs ago, i watched a kid from the lift racing his buddies down slope. the kid was ahead of his friends and looked back several times and like the 3rd time he looked back for a while, he rode straight into a rail. it was fuckin hellarious...his skis flew off and his head bounced right off of it. he must of been down for like 20 min. he was crying and i thought it was so funny

I saw two idiots hit each other while skiing a steep bump run and proceed to slide down the entire run... it was fucking hilarious... but the worst by far was when i saw some crazy dude go for a 180 over a 60 foot table... it was soo smooth and stlylie... but he overshot the top of the tranny by like 30 feet... when he hit the snow way down at the very bottom of the tranny both skis ejected and his face went right into the snow... and bounced off HARd... then i saw the large blood mark where his face hit... it wasn't funny, he got fucked up and carted down the hill and right to the hospital.

The other day i was on the chair and i watched this guy hit a table and as soon as he got in the air he flailed his arms and stuck his legs straight out in front of him, he landed flat on his back and his head snapped back and hit the snow really hard.
Also, another time this kid tried to slide a box but he fell and hit his head on it, and there were like 10 ski patrol guys around him, he was on like life support and and they had to get him out with a helicopter

Worst I ever saw was like 9-10 years ago up at Steven's Pass, WA. At the top of the 7th heaven chair there was a little semi-blind step-up where a skiier had just bailed just below the knuckle of the tranny. I'm standing up near the top watching this snowboarder head straight for the step-up - boarder hits the lip and starts a slow 180 rotation right when the skiier stands up. The boarder was like 75-90 degrees around when his board catches the skiier right at the base of his neck. From what I heard from the ski patrol later, the skiier suffered a collapsed esophagus and unfortunately didn't make it home ... ever. Needless to say, that hit is no longer around.

heh me and my buddy were going up the lift a tremblant in the spring last year and this middle aged guy got huge air off the first table, came in with tons of speed for the second and did like 1/4 of a backflip and landed on the flats. Everyone on the lift was like 'o my god I hope he's ok' and me and my buddy are just sitting there laughing our asses off. it was funny

i seen a little girl get t.k.o'd last year,she was just starting to ski and was in her little lessons group and she was goinn pretty fast and tried to snowplow,both of her skis popped off while she was doing that and she slammed face first right onto some ice,she wasnt moving for about ten minutes,

The most hurt i ever saw someone was when a snowboarder was trying a rail for the first time. He didn't make it and broke his ribs. Another snowboarder did this like a week later! The funniest was when a bunch of little kids where going off this really small kicker and they where all behind eachother in a line. One jumped and didn't land and some of the others landed but tripped over the first one...they where all in a pile heading towards the tree!

I saw a girl get paralyzed. There's nothing funny about that.
It was at a big air comp.
There were two jumps, a bigger jump and a lesser jump. No one even hit the bigger jump. Most of the contestants were hitting the smaller jump from about halfway down the trail and were catching some good air of it.
This chick comes up next to me, I don't even know if she was in the comp. I ask her what she is doing. 'I'm going for the big jump'. I told her its friggen huge and she has no business on it. I ask her how many times she's gone off jumps before? She told me she's gone off of jumps a few times.
Needless to say, she tucks from the top of the trail all the way down towards the jump. Way too much speed. She hits the big jump, she leans way back, she overshoots the whole thing, she smacks the hard snow (must've been 20 feet or more up)
she's paralyzed.

earlier this year i saw this guy charging into a 60 footer, and he hit it and imediatley started falling backwards, he had just gotten inverted when he hit the landing, but miraculously he skied away from it, it was crazy, also, this is kinda mean but hey, i think its funny when its slippery and ppl who cant walk in ski boots eat shit hard walkin, and then they just lay there like it was some near death experience, i know theres been serious injurys from falls in old peoples cases, but alot of the ones ive seen havnt been old people

You see some pretty bad ones riding the lift over the Blackcomb park.
One that sticks in my head was when a snowboarder was going for a backside 180 off the first hit, but he only rotated about 90-100 degrees and nolled the jump on his backside edge, so he flew back REALLY hard into the ground and his head made the loudest thud. He just slid down the tranny with his arms frozen in front of him - like a zombie - and slowly slid to a stop. He didn't move a muscle but his arms slowly lowered to the ground. He was out cold for a long tim.
Its the noise that his head made that I remember.

this summer at whistler I saw some kid fly out of a halfpipe and land on his side on the deck. he rolled over screaming with his arm bent the wrong way. The kid was a dick so I thought it was pretty funny.

I didn't actually see it but:
It was the end of March last season @ Jackson Hole and their park had a table w/2 hits. The left side was only like 10-15' while the right was much much bigger: 30-35'. I was spinning 360's over it all week and my snowboarder buddy wouldn't hit it b/c he was being a puss and wouldn't get enough speed. So the day I'm not there he apparently bombs it from the top when it was 'icy' and 'clears the landing'. He also lost balance just as he hit the lip so he did a half-back.
He now has a plate in his shoulder etc... etc... I'm pretty sure he just lost his balance as he hit the lip, and decked the table hard. SUCKS.

the funnest thing I ever saw was at blackcomb a couple of years ago. Some girl goes off the big kicker next to the shed but right before she went off she lost both of her skis and she sort of lawn darted off the jump. she didnt get hurt though.

i've said it before...but here it is again....in BC last year i was skiing with this guy, a pretty good friend....we were dropping this cornice into this super skinny 53 degree chute. to the right wasa 12ft cliff we were droppin, to the left was a 30-40 ft'er. i dropped in, dropped the smaller cliff, and skied down to open part of this face to wait for him. he drops in, just like he had 1000's of times before. he made a hard turn and it blasted his one ski off. he slid head-first off the 30-40 ft'er. his head hit this rock that was sticking up at the bottom. his helmet shattered into 4 pieces. he slid past me and all the way down this face. god bless TR.

1st off Petek is a jackass.. thats not 'phunny' at all man
2nd I once saw this retard in the park at Tremblant just staying in the landing of a film shooting yelling shit like ' I paid my pass so I can do what I want' etc.. anyways he goes off the second smaller big air, crashes, gets pissed takes off his skis and sits down in the landing... at that point no one liked him much... anyways some guy didn't see him in the landing jumped the big air and smoked his head off with his skis. My friends and I laughed our asses off... the guys who jumped was pissed but ok, he skied away while we didn't stay aroud to see what happened to the retard lying on the ground.

the worst thing ive seen is my best friend, hit this 35 ft table at probably 2 times the speed he needs and, clears it by about 15-20 ft. lands, smacks his head on his knee. he was knocked out an seisureing(sp?) for 5 min. he was rushed to the hospital, and they told him that he just blacked out, but he clearly had a severe concusion cause had no idea where he was, waht happend, and when they told him to move it right arm, he moved his left leg.

a coupe weeks ago i was skiing backwards (stupid)in a tuck. then smoked a 'safety' pole and backflipped, stabbing myself in the eye with the tip of my ski. it was more funny than painful, cause it happened to me.

skiing backwards is only stupid if u dont know how to do it, but today i was boostin big 1s over this spine table thats about 30 to 35 ft long, but it kicked u up high, and one time i did one just like ne other except i started falling backwards and landed on what felt like my back but i dont know cause i hit my head really hard and i forgot where i was

I saw a snowboarder a few weeks ago get up to the top of the trap rail at mt. baker and fall off of it backside. I don't think he had a helmet on and was probably 14-15 years old. It was about a ten foot drop onto ice. I think he landed on his head because he laid there for about 20 minutes while the ski patrol came with the meat wagon.
Oh yeah and today i was skiing backwards in a little bit of powder and hit a retaining fence. It was absolutely hilarious. I somersaulted and lost a ski. I landed in about 2 feet of new snow though so it was fun. I've also had some other hainus falls this year but haven't gotten hurt yet.
I apologize in advance for my retarded posts. i just get that way sometimes...

2 years ago i was up on my hill and i had rented ski boards, just to try them... well i guess back then they werent very popular cuz the ones i got were falling apart and had absolutely no edge... so i start going down the hill and i go to jump this little orange netting fence... well i dint have a ramp and im white so i cant jump 2 feet in the air... needless to say i hit it, but how i hit it was the worst, i hit it and spun but my one leg was caught in it... broke my ankle and knee... my ankle swelled up that they had to like saw part of the boot, oh it sucked
Oh and then the other day i was skiing and i was watching this maybe 11 or 12 year old kid and he was at the top of the park just about ready to hit this table... well the kid starts going and he tucks and this snowboarder behind him goes at the same time, well there is 2 big tables next to eachother, i guess the snowboarder didnt see the kid on the other table because of a little dip, he goes to transfer, slams into the kid in mid air, the kid just fucking falls and hits with a thud and the boarder slid down the landing face first but got up and booked out of there... the kid lied there until the meat wagon got him

today me and some kids were sessioning this roller coaster rail, and this kid who was hitting it weird was havin some trouble on it, but on his 4th try he got it, but wait, he was on it fine but had his shoulders perpindicular to the rail, so he started rotating foward, and BOOM!, death to his nut sack, he fell straight on his nuts from about 2.5 feet, and his legs werent quite as long as the rail was high so he was dangling, all i could do was sit there and laugh, it was the funniest damn thing i have ever saw, and he hit it slow to so it was in slo mo making it all the more funny

Last year I saw a skiboarder attempt to hit a 35 foot table and then break his back. Took 1hour and a half to get him out of their. Last week I saw a skier over shoot a 10 foot table do like 3 daffies to gain control and break his back. I've also seen many ppl break their arms/legs/fingers/colar bones. And i've experienced a broken leg(spiral fracture!)

Me and my friens were hitting this little table top at the bottom of the half pipe and this guy, probly about 20, wearing jeans, a backwards hat, and a flanel shirt hit it. He was on skinny skis too. He tried to do a 3 and ate it hard at about 270. It was sooooo funny, he was in so much pain, but it was still funny because he looked like a fool.

i have a million horror stories..
i was filming some friends one day at the local hill, didnt even bother to bring my skis with me, when this tiny guy comes speeding into the park. he cuts off my friend who is just about to session the double kink, which is about 4 feet off of the ground, anyways, the kid flys off the kicker to the kinker and forgets to turn. he nuts himself hard, going at least 35 mph. i hear a super load pop and blood pours from the kids pantlegs. the kid is strattling the rail screaming, balls busted, and my friend still has the nerve to grind the rail, nailing the kid in the back. so the kid falls limp off of the rail, a huge patch of blood on his crotch, out cold. a couple hours later the skipatrollers finally come and haul his tiny ass off.

Last year, a few friends and I were skiing late in the season and at the bottom of a double black there was a patch of sticky snow. (I think it was warm that day and melted a bit) Anyway, these people would come flying down this hill in tucks and as soon as they would hit the snow they would wipe. Almost every one of them would loose both skis and just roll. Skiboarders were the greatest cause their bindings wouldnt release. haha. And all the boarders face planted. I spent a good hour sitting in the woods watching people wipe.
