I used to be a snowboarder(stop laughing and keep reading) and i know then the difference between mutes and indy's was which hand you grabed with. shouldnt that be the same on skis.
i dont think theres such thing as an indie on skis, but i have a question, are fs and bs boardslides the same thing as skiing? like, some people are more comfortable with right foot forward in skiing and some people are more comfortable with bs in snowboarding?
i'm think what you're probably referring to as an indie is a saftey (grab under the boot). It doesn't matter which hand you grab with, the grab is the same. As to the fs/bs boardslide question, skiing is just right foot forward/left foot forward.
