i have to do a spanish project, i have to find a spanish song that not many of us not bilingual americans wouldnt know, therefore not like shakira or any of that kind of mainstream americanized music. Alright thanks for all your help

why not stick with something simple. something you'd hear commonly prefomred by like those mariachis that play for you in mexico while you eat dinner.

Manu Chao.

Nonpoint does a song in spanish but they're an english speaking band so I don't know if that counts. It's called Rabia.

Orishas and Manu Chao are really good bands..

Also Silvio Rodriguez, a cuban singer,  has very good songs, the lyrics are very deep..and it's more folklore music.
