a kid told me in school today that we was watching the news this morning and he said that there was a avalanche at chads? dose anyone kno anything about this?

they would say " avalance in utah's grizzly gulch" if anything, but since avalanches happen all the damn time there, i don't think it's important enough to be on the news.

the point of the thread is that the avalanche was moving at 53mph and hit chads switch, and then tumbled and it was stopped instantly by the wall. breaking its ankles.

Once again... another mean post. And there are avalanches in Grizzly Gulch allll the time. I'm willing to be that the landing of the gap iteself has slid. it's pretty steep, and with enough snow could slide. And i highly down it would make news, unless someone got burried. Don't call someone a "faggit" because they say there opinion.

yeah there is alike a slope thats is totally prone to avalanches just above Chads so I wouldn't doubt it, I bet it has on pyramids too. Theres a lot of slides in UT

first of all it would have to be huge to completely cover the gap. and if it did it would melt half way in the summer and people could hit it all year round. also as gotamabcshred said avalanches happen in there allll the time. its not a big deal unless someone dies. then it would be in the news.
